CREATIVELY PUTTING AN END DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Vision

Raise additional awareness of domestic violence and help victims turn their life around by changing the attached stigmas, making it easier to reach help, stop the destructive cycle, and show children of all ages how to live victim free. To accomplish this Empowerment Films will build self-esteem and self-respect with age and culturally appropriate videos to be distributed locally, state, nation, and eventually worldwide.

As survivors and health care professionals, we understand the problem exceedingly well. This provides a way to raise understanding to those unaware of how this situation consumes a victim with a debilitating fear. As the situational problems of domestic violence become better understood, people can make statements to assist in changing the stigma and give victims strength and support.

Videos will assist the victims of domestic violence and everyone touched by this devasting problem by teaching each person understanding and comprehension of abusive situations showing affects on the entire community.

Empowerment films will also focus on the root causes and emotional abuse to stop the cycle of abuse rather than just treating symptoms and patching up the resulting disasters after the fact.

The films will give alternatives to build stronger individuals and relationships, add artistic ventures, creative outlets, and a community to promote more communities of acceptance, discussion and understanding as our ability to reach more people increases.

Basic Visions for 2024
